Strange Desert Phenomena

Created by combining two loves: abstract art and the desert with all it’s bizarre phenomena in the form of flying saucers. I begin with a finished abstract painting, mask a piece of it, paint a desert and UFO over that painting, and when dry, peel the mask off to reveal the tractor beam which gives us a glimpse into an alternate reality. This series explores belief and perception and celebrates the magic in the apparently mundane and things we can’t explain.
