8×10 inch fine art print
Embrace the transition from midwinter to spring with this rich, beautiful 11×14 inch painting featuring the Celtic Goddess Brigid on Imbolc. Bask in the warm glow of sunlight filtering through birch trees, illuminating tiny shoots emerging from the snow-covered earth around a blazing fire. As the cold season fades, welcome the promise of growth, greenery, and the imminent arrival of Spring.
I created this Sabbat series as my own way to embody and meditate on the Wheel of the Year. Each piece features a Goddess who corresponds with the Sabbat, or the Spirit of the Season as I interpret it. The originals are made with acrylic on canvas with tracing paper drawings for the figures.
